My name is Mahezafin Chand. I co-founded this non-profit organization alongside my husband, Andy Chand. We always wanted to serve our community, especially where we live. We have been involved in small fundraisers and volunteer activities benefiting our city since 2018.
We registered our organization in Nov 2021. It happens to be the same month when our province (British Columbia) went through horrific floods due to excessive rain throughout Southwest BC.
Our goal was to raise funds for people who lost their homes and help them with basic necessities to get back on their feet.
Our past collective team volunteer work:
How do we raise money?
We raise money by reaching out to the community using various media platforms. You can donate through our website or by contacting us.
How are funds distributed?
Post our fundraising to help relieve the BC Flood victims, all funds were donated to the Canadian Red Cross Society.
